StitchCheck Pilot Terms

Offer and eligibility

The paid pilot is currently offered only to adults located in the United States using a household sewing machine. Orders outside that scope may be cancelled and refunded. The price is USD 7 for one human-reviewed diagnostic. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

What you receive

After complete intake and payment reconciliation, the provider aims to deliver by email within 24 hours: visible observations, two likely reversible causes, one next test supported by the supplied consumer manual or official manufacturer source, stop-and-service conditions, confidence and a setup card. The clock starts only when all required evidence is usable.

Safety and limits

StitchCheck is educational troubleshooting support, not repair, inspection, certification or a guarantee that a machine is safe. It does not authorize opening a housing, electrical work, timing or hook adjustment, needle-bar adjustment, bending parts or other internal repair. Stop using the machine and contact a qualified technician for needle strikes, burning smells, electrical symptoms, severe noise, broken parts or any instruction that conflicts with the exact manual.

Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate model and setup information, use only scrap fabric for a proposed test, change one variable at a time, follow the manufacturer manual and stop if the machine behaves unexpectedly. You are responsible for deciding whether to carry out a suggestion.

Refunds

If the provider cannot offer a safe actionable next test from a complete intake, the USD 7 diagnostic price is refunded to the original payment method. You may also request cancellation before review begins. Payment-processor timing is outside the provider's control.

Intellectual property and evaluation

You retain rights in your uploaded images and grant the provider a limited license to process them to deliver the service. Product-evaluation retention requires a separate optional consent. The written result is licensed to you for personal use.

Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided for a low-cost pilot and the provider is not responsible for indirect loss, lost projects or damage caused by ignoring a manual, continuing after a stop condition or performing work outside the stated safety boundary.
